- MayaBags® welcomes Spring 2008 with its new linen purses, exclusively at Barneys New York. 100% Belgian linen, topped off with eco-cotton columns of hand-embroidered Maya symbols offer a delightful and complimentary look to this season's fashion, while offering customers an opportunity to be socially conscious by making a difference in the Maya communities of Belize with each bag they purchase. The purses can be purchased either on line www.barneys.com or in Barneys eight flagship stores (NYC, Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts).
- MayaBags® can now be found in Connecticut in the most charming store in both New Canaan and Greenwich, The Linen Shop. Our linen satchels with one-of-a-kind, hand-embroidery of birds, butterflies, or flowers are great for summer days and make the perfect pack able, travel purse. The Linen Shop also carries our bikini bags (for wet bathing suits) made in the season's hottest colors (lime, tangerine, turquoise), lined with yellow vinyl and embellished with either an embroidered turtle, angel fish, or sea horse. Delightful!
- MayaBags® baskets hand-coiled and stitched by the Maya women of Southern Belize are top quality and beautiful and now can be found in the Main Store of The Museum of Natural History in New York City.
- Steph's Stuff in East Hampton, New York have the local exclusive on our whimsical backpacks for kids. Made in hot colors and featuring creatures of the rain forest and the surrounding sea, they're a hit with the youngsters.
- Top Drawer Lingerie in East Hampton is a great place to go in the Hamptons to find our evening, wrist-purses made out of 100% silk and hand-embellished with traditional embroidery by the Maya women. And, our vinyl-lined swim bags, a must for the beach comber and the traveler, can also be purchased in this lovely store.
- MayaBags® were on the main floor of Barneys New York flagship stores during the Winter '07-'08 season. Embellished with Maya symbols meaning "fire", "dreaming places" or "her house", these wool melton bags added a light weight and elegant option for winter wanderers. Their easy to pack style also make them unique among the normal heavy-weight bags of winter.
- MayaBags® celebrates Spring 2007 on the main floor of six of Barneys New York flagship stores (New York Madison Avenue, Beverly Hills, Seattle, Dallas, Chestnut Hill & Chicago). The purses are also featured in Barneys Spring 2007 Handbag Catalog. As well, MayaBags® can be purchased on the Barneys website: www.barneys.com.
- MayaBags® wool plaid, one-of-a-kind purses, each hand appliquéd with a different rainforest creature, were on the main floor of Barney's New York (Madison Avenue and Dallas) during the 2006-2007 winter season. The bags were featured also in the Barneys New York 2006 Holiday Catalog, celebrating Andy Warhol.
- MayaBags® 100% silk, one-of-a-kind purses, hand appliquéd with Maya embroidery, were featured in Barneys New York 2006 Holiday Catalog and were on the main floor in Barneys New York six flagship stores (New York, Chicago, Seattle, Beverly Hills, Chestnut Hill, Manhasset).
