String Backpacks' Menagerie 

Our string-backpacks are the newest addition to our collection of bags and are beautiful, sturdy and interesting.  Made of 97% cotton/3% spandex or 98% cotton/2% polyester, they are hand-embroidered by the Maya women with traditional Maya art.  Most of the packs are trimmed with "eke", a beautiful, soft rope hand-spun by Maya men out of fiber from the Yucca plant.  

Designed  with children in mind, they make great and unique birthday or holiday gifts. Best of all, they have a caring story behind them and are socially conscious. Each pack priced at $55 US or $85 BZ.
