About This Bag
The way ib (Dreaming Places) is a signature MayaBags piece, featured in Vogue as a top 10 most wanted accessory. Its distinctive double handle was inspired by the traditional Maya crescent moon-shaped earring — coiled and stitched by hand from plant fibers of the Belize rainforest. Hand woven on a traditional back-strap loom by a Maya female artisan, it folds flat in your suitcase and is lightweight for travel or everyday elegance. Each bag is a collector's item with a story — and a woman — behind it.
